everyone uses these expressions whether they are exceptionally good at grammar or desperately wanting thereof.

Japan and Korea are both developed countries ... no sense in even comparing the Philippines to them. I believe if you knew the life of the common Chinese man, you'd be glad that you were Filipino. While the majority of the Chinese almost certainly do not know English, those in business to make money almost certainly do or have the money to hire one that does know English.
