anyone who is using silverlight? what definite resources/tutorials did you use? i know there's google, and i have found some sites. but how about you?

i'm used to development using php. but a client has requested a feedback on the usage for silverlight. and i have no experience with it.

    any advice?

    thanks!

I used silverlight for some of my project. Pero ka2ng mga gagmay ra. hahah

All I can say is that, it is closely related with WPF

For resources, I used the Home: Silverlight.NET.
IMO, the resources this site provides is enough for a kick-off.

And another comparison is that, it is like Adobe Flex. But in silverlight case, you have to use the silverlight plugin in the browser, instead of flash player. I guess, pang compete ni sa adobe flex.

Dn usually ang set-up ani, you have to use web service or WCF for the backend side.

@Maikeru: agree with your post. I haven' tried silverlight but base on my research before, it can also do business applications. I don't know if it change on the recent version, but before it needs to be hosted in the browser. Silverlight is also used, if you want a rich/thick client application that runs in a browser.
