i jst wanna ask for ur views on putting up an internet cafe business in the province... do you think this type of biz will still flourish given the present state of our economy and the number of internet cafes that are currently in business?? if so, how much would you think is the starting budget and do you think the pc units should be with the latest specs?? hihihihi... i'm only 23 yrs old, but my mom is willing to loan me some money if i am really willing to take the risk.. para nin.u..mo.click pa ba gihapon ang cafe?? ako plano ky sa amo hometown sa negros.. dapit sa local university, ky ma.ihap pa sa kamot ang mga cafe didto.. pero, kuyawan ako papa, wa daw cya salig ana nga negosyo... unsay tan.aw nin.u bai??

It's good to hear that business is already in your mind at your age. As Joey Concepcion said to succeed in business you must have a right attitude. Right attitude means you have a positive thinking in what you are doing. Don't think of any negative things about your plans, think of positive and and it will energize your mind. In my own personal opinion I think Internet cafe business will still a good business idea as what we have observed right now that PLDT and SMART are going into small businesses to tap their broadband services to rural areas and small stores. It's good to start a business at an early age to learn more. Good luck to your business plan. Dream bIG and keep on dreaming to succeed.

Pre i would suggest to study the area of were you goin to put the business, also think about the competition if there is any and how would you bet them.. just make your cafe unique from the orders.. if you have the technical expertise or experience it would be a great help.

Also I would suggest that you canvassed the cheapest hardware dealer with the best support, those things are going to vital in running your business.

I have setup and given technical support to almost 15 cafe's here in our place, and as what I have observed uniqueness of your cafe, try to look for cafe's and see what they don't have.

Also you should be familiar with the technology about computers, if you're not right now, then I suggest you should start now.

Take note of latest games and softwares, a timer for your cafe should be a must in order to track your sales daily and any other illegal things being done.

It's true, its a budget intensive business, ROI may take some time, so to help you recover your investment, you should do most of the things in your business, like if you know how to repair minor problems, then do it, avoid depending too much on technicians, hurot imo halin ana.

Also, i suggest try using Deepfreeze or ms shared toolkit to lessen software problems, such as viruses and the like.

agree with bradfits... you should know the ins and outs of computers not just the business. maintenance will cost you a fortune if you don't know or do it yourself... well, unless you have somebody to do it for you that you can trust...

I agree with all of them bro. Pero doing business is all abuot risks. If gamay ra ang risks gamay ra pod kita compared sa dinagko nga risks. Mas maayo pa cguro bro nga mag Computer Hardware dealer na lang ka para ikaw na lang supplier sa parts anang mga internet cafes sa inyong lugar. Goodluck! :mrgreen:
