    Default CSS: <ul> width formatting



    tutorial link

    on this portion i specify the width and height

    #navcontainer ul li a
    {
    text-decoration: none;
    padding: .2em 1em;
    color: #fff;
    width: 15%;
    height: 30px;

    background-color: #036;
    }

    and heres the output

    anyone knows how to fix <ul> width and have the same width in FF browser

    when debuging css try to use different colors on different elements.. so you know which element is causing the problem.

    when specifying the width and height, of "Ul Li A" try to indicate also the width and height of UL LI.

    try using px values for your padding instead of em's.

    when specifying the width and height, of "Ul Li A" try to indicate also the width and height of UL LI.
    ^^ Do this one too, in addition to clearing the padding and margins for the LI elements.
