check out sa www.youtube.com look for mike portnoy of dreamtheater paksit kaayo offbeat and rythmic sya..advance technics kana kung kamao naka sa basics..

and also being a drummer kaw ang magda sa beat sa banda timing and all..naay daghan maayo mo drums pero if wala kay banda wa kay ayo gihapon kay d ka ka-experience sa coordination and synchro sa timing..na ang music mahimu ug as ONE mu collaborate sa other instruments..

d kailangan nga naa kay mga tricks and all, fancy ra kaayo usahay wa nay lami paminawon..play it simple, right timing, and ug sakto ang paghapak nga dili bitay sa tukar, find your own style..use the potential of the snare and bass drums..experiment anang 2 things of course with the hi-hat and low-hat cymbals.

ako nakat-on ko walay nagtudlo nako PASSION man gud nako wakoy drumset and shit..practice lang if ganahan jud ka

Hmmmm.... if you're starting out, it's better to start out practicing with heavier drumstix.. however, as you move forward, you should try practicing with different drumstix so that you can get the "feel" of each one..

5A or 5B (assuming you're using Zildjians and Vic Firths - Pro Mark uses different size codes) would be a good stick size to start with ... I'm a 7A user although I do use 5A sometimes -
