Through out the years I've tried many of these kinds. Now I've settled with these:

1. Panda Cloud Antivirus
2. Harden your System(eg. separate administrative & regular accounts, etc....)
3. Always be aware (user awareness)

Since 2008, i've been using Kaspersky Internet Security. Never had virus/spyware, etc. It works for me but yeah you have to pay lag sad each year
