As usual, the SFI reneged from their touted announcement(s) to limit participants to 1,500. This puts the credibility of SFI and their drumbeaters here to zero. With three more days to go, it would not be surprising if the count reaches 3,000 or more. You can just imagine a horde of 3,000 or more fotogs converging on the narrow parade routes along with the fake (scanned ID wearers) fotogs. To this heap, add another hundred(s) or more with VIP (corporate donors) IDs and their scanned counterparts. Man, it'll be a riot when fotogs slug it out to gain better vantage points in taking photos.
'Can't blame fotogs who'll come in kevlar helmets and vests and other protective (riot) gears. Better prepared than be sorry later.
To add more to the preparations what fotogs should bring on Sunday, a good measure of fully charged batteries for the body and flash is in order. Also, a light, sturdy monopod can hold steady DSLRs with long zooms - usable, too, in stick fighting when things come to worse.
