Dapat sad i consider sad ang operating expenses, lantawon if makaya ba sa ato economy (maintenance,fuel cost, etc...)

Kay basin we end up like South Africa, they have JAS Gripen but they only fly it a few hours annually...

mao gyud.. i think it was 3hours flight each for the whole year ra ang budget... saon nlng ang flight training ani nila! hahaha

maka afford gyud mupalit ang indonesia ug mga russian jets kay maayo na man ila economy..
ang ato ane mu settle pa sa jud ta ug mga warplanes nga propeller ang nagpalupad like OV 10's, Cessnas, Tucano's and others kay wala pa man jud ni improve ato economy as of now..


speaking of jets naisip pud ba sa PAF to buy Russian MiG's?? most asian airforces have MiG's on their arsenal particularly the MiG 27 and these MiG 27's are all weather aircraft so I think it would be also suitable in our PAF's arsenal since we lived in a tropical country.

according to some sources in timawan site... russian jets are pretty hard to maintain and they cost too much for their parts hence the lesser price tag for there planes.

I beg to disagree on your link.. its irrelevant.. wala man gisulti sa imo link na bawal sa pinas ang mag purchase ug mga military equipments na dili gikan sa US. and besides US has no sovereignity to stop the philippines to buy their choice of weapons that is not made from them.

sa mga baril pa lang gane nato klase-klase na ang mga suppliers.. naay korea, britain, russian ug even chinese made.

Yes wala man sa treaty nga only US made ra atong mapalit. For example Sokol from Poland.

The reason nga dili ta maka afford because of the low budget + corruption.



Atong economy maka afford man mo palit but our Govt prioritized social development over military spending.


Like North Korea priority nila ilang military 33% sa ilang GDP spent for it. Mao ng gipang gutom ilang mga tawo.
