basta ako ang intellisence ra jud sa dreamwearer labi na sa CSS, di man pud kaau ma gamit ang display kai guba man usahay, ang importate lang ma establish nimo ang basic structure sa imong design then you can hardcode all the way

ang HTML HANDCODING dili man gyud na ingana ka-critical because dili man na ingana kalisud tun-an and hinumduman. maskin pa magsige ka gamit Dreamweaver or any editor unya gusto ka murefresh sa imo knowledge sa HTML, dali ra na.
ang dapat i-focus ang programming languages like Javascript, VBscript, XML, Database, and knowledge about PHP or ASP.net kung asa imo gigamit. mao na lang na gahini ug daghan panahon. kaysa magsige ka mano-mano ug HTML handcode nga pwede ra man ka mag-drag-and-drop sa Dreamweaver. ehehehehe...
but kung gasugod pa ka HTML dapat gyud mag-handcode ka. dapat gani magtuon ka gamay ug C/C++/Java or Visual Basic, kay mao man na foundation sa mga Web Developing programming languages. and sa mga programming languages, dapat mag-handcode gyud ka. ayaw pagsalig ug mga editor. ---and even Dreamweaver and Visual Web Developer requires you to handcode some codes.
p.s. kung mag-Web Designer ka, ok ra HTML and CSS imo nabal-an, more on (of course) Photoshop, graphics, and design. kung mag-Web Developer ka, then programming gyud ka.

for those who've been handcoding HTML, how long (say months or years) did you learn/master the codes brad? i have a book bout HTML and i get a little confuse with all the tags a lot of times. did you learn it thru self study or schooling?

kung kayod lng kau ka mmamaster rana nimo for weeks..den dili pu nimo kelangan memorison tnan tags but familiarize them and myk sure
na kblo k saon pggamit..try pud tan-aw sa mga html coding sa uban webpages para mkabalo ka sa ila mga techniques..

If ever there is an urgent project then your boss expects you to finish it that day. Ayaw ko ingna mag handcode japon ka bisan kabalo ka dli nimo kaya mahumanon that day w/out the help of html editor...
Tanang butang or pamaagi man tingali maayo man ba pro ibutang sad sa saktong lugar ba....

i always use dreamweaver to crank out quick html forms... so much easier and faster than handcoding <input ... />
after that, i use zend to code the other stuff... the one thing i like about dreamweaver and IDEs like zend is that you can create project files and group a bunch of folders... it makes life easier when you have lots files to take care of...
and btw table-less layouts - almost makes dreamweaver useless...
