Actually, it was his coping mechanism to block/forget memories from the past regarding his true family (His father was a foreigner). Complicated bro kinda family conflict with rejection. In simply terms, he lied to Kuya as well as the housemates. The evident photos manifested on social networking sites about his "first time lies" really prompted Kuya to call his attention and verbalize his feelings.

It's not really "iyang lang g.bend ang truth", the art of coping mechanism isn't as simple as we all think. IMO I understand him even before the resident psychologist explained his (Biggel) part. There are several ppol nga in order e-love sila sa world they are in, they intend to lie and create a new truth to what has really happened to their past, in that way they feel reborn and can start their newly created lives with the truth they wanted to experience and just totally forget the bitter past. In that new world of creation they can already refuse to face the things that hurt them, so makapadaun na silag live sa ilang life without regrets. Sometimes ppol who used to stay quiet about things that has to be brought up only wanted to just forget about it & restart everything in another way, mao nang the more e-bring up ang past pains the more mu conceal sa truth
b/c mas gi-try og kalimot ang isa ka butang mas sakit balik-balikon og atubangon. hehe

And another thing, personal viewpoint ko: Naa mn gni diay selective amnesia? I remember a part of a scene in MG and BOF, na amnesia ang lead guy daun sa kadaghan niyang nakalimtan mao ang girl iya gi-love og pag ayu..then the doctor explained that, naay part sa brain sa patient nga kong asa ang mas nasakitan sya or past nga in deep pain sya..maoy exact memory niya na makalimtan.

That's a big example sa na happen ni Biggel, though iya gi-choose ang kalimtan tanan STILL gi-forget niya ang things /ppol nga nasakitan sya or nag dulot og great impact sa iyang life.
