Z77 >=? X79 oh noes!?
First it was Gigabyte Assassin, then MSI's Big Bang 2.. now its Desert Eagle time!
As we all know, Intel Ivy Bridge processors and the matched mobos won’t officially debut until next year, however, it seems that some manufacturers can’t wait to show us its 7 series motherboards.
Here we have got the leaked images, and the exposed motherboard come from Wibtek, which is a contract mobo-maker with capability for design and production.
The leaked mobo is called Hacker Z77, based on Intel Z77 chipset, it adopts black PCB design, features up to 16 phase CPU power supply. In addition, the mobo employs four memory slots, two PCI-E x16 slots, two PCI-E x1 slots, two PCI slots, 10 SATA ports, two front USB 3.0 expansion connectors, as well as on-board start/reset/CMOS buttons.
According to Wibtek, Hacker Z77 has three major characters. They are self-design DPU chip, "desert eagle" cooling system and integrated overclocking technology.
As for rear I/O, the motherboard provides HDMI, DVI and VGA output connectors, boasts six USB 3.0 port, a pair of 8-channel Audio, a IEEE 1394 and one optical output port.
In addition, Hacker Z77 offers six SATA 6Gbps ports, four SATA 3Gbps ports, two PCI-E x16 slots which back up PCI-E 3.0 and PCI-E 2.0,separately. Moreover, the mobo packs a mini PCI-E port designed to install WiFi and Bluetooth module.
