PROPOSED ARCADE (PS3 / XBOX 360) GAMING TOURNAMENT 2012

Venue: J Centre Mall, A.S. Fortuna St., Bakilid, Mandaue City

Proposed Dates: April-May 2012


I would like to ask for your opinions on what game to be played and the format of the tournament.

Proposed Game is Tekken 6. Controller to be used is Arcade Stick.

4 Weeks Tournament, to be played every Wednesday. Championship will be played on Saturday.


Prices depends of the Sponsors contributions.

Proposed Price are as follows:

Champion:

Trophy and Xbox 360 Slim or PS3 Slim or PSP Vita Unit


1st Runner-up

Trophy and P 5,000 Gift Certificate


2nd Runner-up

P 2,500 Gift Certificate


3rd Runner-up

P 1,000 Gift Certificate



Proposed Tournament Format:

5-7 Players Per Bracket (Single Round Robin) Qualifying Round

Top 2 Players Per Bracket (Number 1 and 2) will advance to Elimination Round on the 2nd Week. Cross over Quarter Finals Best of 3. (Example: Bracket A Number 1 vs. Bracket B Number 2 Rank)

Quarter Finals (3rd Week)

Semi-Finals and Finals (4th Week)



Proposed Registration Fees:

P 300 with free T-Shirt

should not be only tekken but i think you should add super street fighter iv arcade edition and ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 since there are already cebuanos playing the game in emall. hope this will be included.

Yes, we will be having a Arcade Tournament. This is for real. We already held a tournament before using PSP. 2009 and 2010. But now we will have an Arcade Tournament.

since its a 4 week tourney...maybe you should add 4 different games.... tekken, sf4 or mvc3, blazblue and maybe throw in a classic fighting game like mk2.

i guess maybe you can do it using some sort of points system and the final saturday have the 4 people with the most points play against each other... but since time maybe a factor...not sure how it would pan out
