congrats master finchman!
master finchman, may tanong po ako. totoo bang iba yung huni nung normal canary sa high mutes? thanks.
iba't iba yung mga huni ng song bred canaries sir jake... hindi nagdedepende sa mutation nila yun... nagdedepende sa kung anung klaseng song-bred canary sila... examples of song bred canaries are german roller, belgian waterslager, and the spanish timbrado... parang yung nandito sa atin meron yata tayong mga american singer na song bred canaries...![]()

salamat sir Paul. Pare pareho lang naman silang canary, tapos iba iba pala ang huni nila.
tama si Bai Paul. Ibat-iba ang mga huni nila. They can also learn songs of other songbirds once they are always exposed to it. there are canary song CD's available sa net that one can buy to train the songs of the canarys but the type of songs will be dependent on the type of canarys.... what we normally have here are the American Singers, Border and some Yorkshire breeds as far as i know. Fife are also available with some collectors in Manila. Im not sure if Spanish Timbranos are already available here and Russian Rollers or German Rollers...
thanks Bai Butcholy. My aim for now is to continuously breed the pairs i have so that i can produce enough to be shared to those interested to have here in Cebu. im keeping my breeders though as this is my first set. i will infuse new blood on this batch so that i can have different lineage coming from different sources and breeders. So far what i have are from 2 different breeders and im looking at another Canary breeder in Rizal, Metro Manila that i will be getting new lines.
very good piece of information master finchman.thanks
