Ako 4 month old shihtzu kai gi diagnose sa vet with distemper.

Iya symptoms kai mostly respiratory, green iya sip-un, then mag muta ug maayu iya eyes, and iya cornea kai cloudy na kaayu - murag gi cataract..nawala sad iyang appetite, pero mu kaun man xag ginagmay, not as much as before lang. Gi injectionan na siya sa vet ug mucolytic and multivitamins+appetite stimulant, and naghatagan na mi ug antibiotics and vitamin C.

Ask lang ko if ever inyu dogs nagka distemper, namatay ba jud sila? Di jud ko ganahan mamatay ako puppy.. >< If ever naa mui other treatments ma suggest, I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks!

it is with much sadness to tell you that yes your pup will probably die.
if ever he will survive, he will forever be a "carrier" of that disease
and will "infect" every dog he will come in contact with.
the symptoms will get worse as days comes along esp if his immune system goes down.
im sorry....

always keep his immune system up bro..
give him vit c 500mg per day

guys i rly nid help, among shih tzu ba gikagid, tried bringing it to a vet gi injectionan sya ambot unsa to wala may effect.. somebody told me na asiti daw ibutang para sa kagid effective daw.. effective ba nang asiti mga bro? kagid sya nga iyang balahibo medyo nigamay na unya mamuwa pud iyang skin.. murag rashes... help...

try to go to another vet clinic bro.
sometimes, seeking 2nd opinion/diagnosis solves the problem.
i advise against putting anything on your dog's skin aside from a proper drug/medication.
i dont see asiti (or used oil) containing anything that can cure your dog's skin problem;
its probably a mange, so known mange meds should be applied instead. :0
