I understand the US hate ... it's the cool thing to do. But US hate and Iranian love? That doesn't make sense. Who are you going to cuddle up to when the shit hits the fan? Iran? China? Really? The Filipino people always seem to be proud as the biggest Christian nation in Asia. I'm afraid that simple statistic might get you a whole lot of shit.

China may be the big boy in Asia, but the US still holds the big stick and China may be able to reverse engineer an iPod and come up with an MP3 player, but a generic MP3 player is not an iPod and a flying machine does not equal a US military drone.

Also, who the hell said any general talked about WW3? Where is the source? You guys believe every little lie that gets posted on the Internet because the Internet ... is obviously true in all ways.

Pareha ra gud sa 1st and 2nd world war, U.S. entered after being provoked after the sinking of Lusitania and Pearl Harbor respectively. AFAIK, those nationas can act unilaterally, even Israel. Seriously, WW3? Iran is a country not many people like. Who is going to risk WW3 for Iran? China? ... they are more interested in growing and winning the future with their economy. Russia? ... they've been in the Cold War with the US ... they couldn't compete. What other big power is going to come to Iran's defense? ... Realistically I mean. Lots of countries talk a lot. Not many actually want to back their talk with military power. Israel and the US however do more than just talk and Iran has been bombed by Israel before ... so what exactly is new this time?

As for China, I don't think they want to go into armed confrontation with anybody right now. It all depends if Hu Jintao or who ever really calls the shots in the PRC has the huevos to escalate anything. Russia appears to be defying a lot of U.S.-backed agendas recently, so who knows, maybe we'll be seeing the Iron Curtain really soon.

China is too busy conquering the world economy. Military conflict is not on the radar. So Iran is on their own. Russia likes to "defy" the US like they did in the Cold War. They like to think that they still matter ... but they don't. It's just a lot of chest thumping.

In both events you cited, there are historians who believe us invited itself into the war by staging the events and fooling the citizens into supporting the wars....it might be true or not but I get your point...russia is at a mess right now, china can probably start but it is not to its best interest to disturb the markets right now, china is profiting from the current set up...
