merry x-mas kaninyong tanan mga master...
naa lang koy problema mga master...on my 15gal with 6tetra and 10RCS...
last month naka notice ko akong 6 tetras naay ich.
so akong gilahi and treat them with salt 1tspn/gal...
after a week fatay man tanan tetra...
after a week with no fish, assuming ICH is gone kay wala nay HOST...
so i bought 10 tetras...
after 3 days
nakakita nsad kog 1 or 2 ich spots sa 2 tetras nasd..
unsaon man diay pag-treat ug tarong sa infected fish ug sa planted tank mga master...
usikan kaayo ko sa tetra mga matay lang...
totally discouraging on the set-up i have...pls help..

Hello Eskeryon,
I hope everyone I know in Cebu is doing well.
It is always like that, some plant doesnt grow for you and the same plants grows like mad in your friend's tank. and you do not know why. C. pygmaea grows well for me (both on agar and emerse). Pogostemon erectus grows well locally, but still very susceptible during longer transport. But we have problem with Echinodorus horizontalis. It makes a nice new leaf but in the same time the oldest one gets spots and eventually drops off. So we are not able to grow the nice specimens to show-up.
I hope I will release soon Aponogeton madagascariensis. It grows well submerse in vitro, makes nice bulbs and no dormancy needed so far (about 8 months in culture already).
I am preparing another trip from beginning of February with my two friends (but no aquarists) . This time I want to explore Southern Laos (Pakse, Champasak, Si Phan Don, Bolaven Plateau and if time allows Vang Vieng). I have been there before, but only north of Vientiane and the monsoon season came sooner then I expected that time. We want to have a few days of beach rest in Southern Thailand before return to Bangkok. I will deliver some my plants for two leading Thai nurseries, I hope I will be able to find some novelties there for my laboratory.
