I think it's not right to shelve this issue and just move on to the next. I strongly feel there are now a whole lot more of unanswered questions without the list on who or what organizations ended up with the bulk of the money from the gambling casinos. Even without anyone asking for an accounting- people involved and given the responsibility of taking charge of the money should come out with a report on how the money was spent. Kwentas klaras ba !

IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK AND TOO HARD TO DO ?

After all, the money is not theirs to keep- is it? Or isn't it ?

If the Church always goes to the truth, they "shoud" tell and bring the truth to the open.... Church now is business entity same with schools....

I'am a RC. And i like what the TS said.
Sa probinsiya, naa jud financial statement e-include sa Sunday mini newspaper(i dont know the term)
mas nindot ta, if ang mga dagkong churches especially like what the TS said, churches receiving huge amount of money from the casino will also do the same so that the public will know.

As long as the money received from Pagcor is used by the Church for charity towards the poor, homeless, orphans, sick, etc ... I don't see any wrong doing on the side of the Church .. after all, the charter of Pagcor states that " a part of its income should be used to support charitable institutions ..." The Church helps many and countless poor .. and it needs support ... even from Pagcor!

it might be a little awkward if a bit of the money from gambling goes to such things as "cars" or "clothes" or "travel" one must also understand that a priest has a life.

agree ko ani bay! the church should also be transparent since dagko manag silag income. i even heard na naay usa ka priest na shareholder sa usa ka bank.. filthy rich!
