How I wish na unta ang ato kina-iya pareho jud sa japanese.. but u know na.. japanese is japanese, pinoy is pinoy..
Mao sad na ang admiration nako sa Japanese (though I do think there is a sort of extreme and perversion in their society, but they are good people)--they come out of a revolution, 4 consecutive wars (devastated in the last one), gets atomic bombed in a span of 70 years, and by the 1960s, they've completely pulled out of their dismal state to become a force in the region. Same with Korea, came out of an occupation, civil war and a coup--and bam! also an economic powerhouse by the mid 90s. China as well, from a lap dog of many western countries into a country posed to be the strongest...All these countries success can be partially attributed to one thing, and that's nationalism. A sense of solidarity or unity. We don't have that. We have never undergone a major civil war, but we have always been in constant rift as a society. Mao siguro wala sad tay progress.

I understand your desperation... but to be colonized again by any foreign country?? Not a good option for today's generation because countries who used to invade us have already conquered the world economies..

I didn't allude to foreign intervention, I'm saying that the division in our country instead of turning into a full-blown armed conflict of disunion, it is instead a war of words that results in a longer resolution of the highly-polarized parties of the Philippine political spectrum. Wala tay progress because our rift is dragging. Nobody is decisive enough to become the head honcho that can lead the country into real progress.

daghan man gud mga brite bay... walay gusto magpapildi.. and even if there is a president na namuno sa atong nasud daghan man hinoon mangita ug bikil arun lang ma impeach ang presidente and same thing also sa other head of the government organizations.

solidarity of filipinos is really, really, really hard jud bay kay una sa tanan even us filipinos are having unequal treatment to our fellow pinoys.. (U know na about their standard thing but sometimes it is inconsistent sa ila mga gipang-ingon) that is why daghan mudagan ug pagka pulitiko just to make vengeance to others and at the same time they make our government a business na sad that is why corruption is rampant..

I just hope lang jud bitaw there would be solidarity among us filipinos and forget all the grudges that we have against our fellow pinoys and move on to make this country prosperous..

The system itself is corrupt...that's why no matter who sits in power, corruption still exist....it has never been minimized...only kept hidden, to the extent of which cannot be seen by the likes of us...the people who runs the government are the products of yesterdays government, flawed, misplaced, self serving, but marketed as champions of different sorts...
