matatangalan na ng korona ang supreme court
in fairness sa mga Garcia they didnt sign the impeachment complaint.
exactly. but Corona is the epitome of 'pabagaay sa nawong' ba.
everybody knows his close association to gloria since the latter was still a vice president.
corona held various cabinet positions when gloria became president.
he accepted the nomination and later became a CJ which his senior associate justices declined for the reason that the appointment will be a midnight appointment.

A Masterful Deceit: How to Destroy the Philippines' Democratic Institutions
padung nagyud mahuman ang grand plan
The impeachment needs 16 senators to become a conviction. Ubay-ubay baya mga lawyer senators, unaligned senators (to the admin), and senators who have a bone to pick with Aquino (Villar and Marcos)... Kita na kinsay trapo ani run.
I see these senators acquitting the conviction 99%: Arroyo, Angara, Villar, Marcos (First three are graduating, all of them have a bone to pick with Aquino) (4)
The Cayetanos - most probable(2)
Enrile - based sa iyang recent statements (1)
Santiago - based sa iyang recent statements (1)
Legarda - very possible
Honasan - Depends on where Enrile goes, he might go.
Revilla - Lakas Bloc
Lapid - Lakas Bloc
the rest teeter on the fence, from what is speculated. (especially Chiz, I'm really curious as to how he will vote, considering he has political ambition while recently applauding the SC)
Depende ra ni sa pagda aning prosecution and how Corona will fend the wolves off.
if they abstain on the impeachment or acquit, derailed ang railroaded case ni PNoy.
The 7 Senators from the LP stable definitely mu affirm na sa impeachment.

I heard the interview of Congressman Arthur Yap of Bohol (former Dept. of Agri. Secretary). Ingun cya nga just sign and don't ask anything. In just 2 hours nahuman na daw ang signing nga e impeach si CJ Corona. Naa daw accusations nga naa daw dugang sa PDAF if ni sign ka, so that will make (70M pesos + signing bonus)...![]()

SC spokesman denounces alleged oust Corona plot - GMA News Online - The Go-To Site for Filipinos Everywhere
Recently, Corona is on the receiving end of President Benigno Aquino III’s criticisms recently, with Aquino accusing him and the Supreme Court of hindering his administration’s efforts against corruption with its recent decisions.
Marquez said the allegations against Corona and the Supreme Court are pure fantasy and baseless. To prove Corona’s impartiality, Marquez enumerated Corona’s judicial record during the present and past administration.
- In Islamic Da’wah Council of the Philippines v. Office of the Executive Secretary, Corona nullified Executive Order 46, which was issued on 26 October 2001 by the former administration.
- In the Secretary of National Defense vs. Manalo, Corona joined the majority in ruling that “[t]he ineffective investigation and protection by government agents under the secretary of defense and the AFP failed to guarantee the right of security of respondents as required by the Constitution.
- Corona also voted with the majority in Central Mindanao University v. The Honorable Executive Secretary, concerning the annulment of Presidential Proclamation 310 that took property from a state university for distribution to indigenous peoples and cultural communities.
- In David v. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the Chief Justice, as a member of a unanimous Court, voted to nullify the warrantless arrests against petitioners David, Llamas and others, and the searches and seizures against the Tribune, under authority of Presidential Proclamation No. 1017 and General Order No. 5 of Arroyo for being unconstitutional.
Asked whether the court sees Malacañang’s hand in the impeachment plot, Marquez said the plot to oust Corona was confirmed by no less than President Aquino’s deputy spokesperson, Abigail Valte.
