Whats the best toy for a 1yr to 3yrs old kid?

Best in a means that it could contribute more on the intelectual development.

Regardless on whether the parents are clever or dumb.

rubix cube thats semi-rubber. which he/she can bite when playing(included na ang nag ngipon).

for me the most beneficial would be a ballpen or play pen with balls (as in pen nga naay multicolored balls sa sulod. ganahan man na sila maglangoy langoy ug maglabay-labay sa balls...and if you provide a big receptacle kay ila nang hakot-hakoton didto. these are good for motor development as well as the introduction of colors and counting.

you should get something dats both fun and educational.

avoid toys that are small (marbles and the like) for babies might eat them..go for bldg blocks or dice in foam w/c are common nowadays...

how much is the budget?

my son had this toy when he was one... had this leapfrog phonics pond which is really for 3 yrs and above (accdg to leapfrog) but he absolutely enjoyed playing with it. it costs mga 1000+ if i am not mistaken.

he also had building blocks (big lego-like ones) which he plays with to this day.... cost is hmm... gee mga 300+? forgot na hehehehe.

another nice toy for him would be a drum set na mini version of a drum set...bass, toms, cymbals etc... cost is around 600-800 yata.... binili sa hongkong ang kang anton..hehehe....i believe i saw one in one of the taiwan stores downtown.

teka... u didnt specify the gender of the kid! hehehehehe anyways... the toys i told you...till now he plays with them... he is now three... so fit ra gihapon imo age range hehehehehe.

kani kay lingaw jud kaau! we bought one for hapi hauz and the cost of the ball pool is around 1,200 yata plus extra bag of balls which is around 600+.
