was this taken from Olango island?

now im torn between two lenses,

Sigma 150-500 5-6.3 OS and Canon 400mm f5.6L. The sigma has OS but canon don't have IS.

with the canon, I need a shutter speed not below 1/400 but with the sigma it has a 4-stop OS.

As what I've heard from other istoryans and some friends, they say IS doesn't really help I still don't know, but for me you should rather go for the EF 400mm f/5.6, it's popular naman.

^ sakto sad...pero I have read a forum pod nga gi compare ang 70-200 f2.8 + 2x vs 400mm 5.6...parehas ra ug IQ.

cge lang, akong suwayan lang usa ning Sigma, akong tanawon ang mga shortcomings, then I will change or upgrade to other lenses.

naa ko nakita sa flickr nga 5D ang gamit nya 500mm f4 IS, but before 50D ug 300mm f4 IS...NIGEL/

^around 50k boss with local warranty na cya.

i have both 70-200 f2.8 and f4..lain2x lang ug gamit ang duha.

^The reviews of the 150-500 Sigma are like 50-50 while you said to me ang 400mm f/5.6 = to the 70-200 f/2.8 + 2TC, hmmmm... I'm now thinking about the Sigma, pero wala daw siya'y nindot nga performance on low light conditions, it'll still be difficult to shoot Magpies and Wood peckers kay murag kanunay naas ngitngit nang mga langgama pero on a terrain jud or tree tops nindot ang 150-500, you'd still be going over 6.3 man mag 7-11 man japon
