I think one of the officials pointed out that there is a something/minuscule/insignificant decimal of a percent that a zombie manifests, let alone a zombie outbreak would occur... But if it does occur it would surely be the biggest catastrophe to befall on the human civilization if authorities are not open to the chance that it can occur. Better safe than sorry.
Ako, I'll base my survival on Max Brook's Zombie Survival guide, and make adaptations if necessary. If there is still access to the net, mag set jud ug communication. Pero unless compromised najud ang situation, bug out jud dri.
Delikado lang jud ang Cebu kay tungod sa iyang urban density, so infection would probably be fast. adto siguro ko sa bukid or mangita ug means to get out of Cebu and into many of the smaller islands of the province. But depende rajud, if we're talking about George Romero zombies, then avoid jud ta ug daghan kaayo tao. But if viral/bite-borne zombies pwede ra sa small secluded community. Of course arm to the teeth with appropriate weapons, and make sure naay sustenance.
agree with Max Brook's Zombie Survival guide, if Zombie Apocalypse comes, i will be securing handheld transceivers, food, water, high-powered firearms and a very reliable nga sundang (kung sundang dili ka mag-reload hehehe). Kung na-compromise na ang CENTCOM, i will do my best to sneak in amongst the zombie soldiers and will secure an APC (APCs' moves faster than a tank and its armor can withstand zombie strength, plus mounting a 50 cal heavy machine gun on its turret) then drive to the south then to the mountains.
