right.. there should be a change to everything here in the Philippines.. but education is also not a guarantee that this country would change.. take a look..

1.) Ferdinand Marcos and Gloria Macapagal Arroyo are highly educated and intelligent and yet we are still on poverty.
2.) Joseph Estrada is not highly educated as he doesn't enter college but the masses like him due to his popularity and yet our country is still on poverty.
3.) Noynoy Aquino is now our president and yet we are experiencing more poverty.

Now what kind of change do we really need to stop or solve our country's poverty??

Charter change?? I hope it does help this time..

^^ because poverty cannot be fixed overnight. It requires a long term plan. How can that be done if with each person who takes office they undo the previous administration's work?

Instead of fixing problems with the country each administration has to deal with damage control from previous presidents.

If it has to be fixed it has to be planned, sustained and maintained by future presidents. dili lang kai plano sa usa sabotahion sa sunod.

There must be a philosophical change in liberty, economy, and law to effect tangible change in this country. So far, all administrations have been meddling with free market and abiding the Keynesian Economics faithfully. Such is the resulting economic calamities of the EU nations and the United States... We are yet to follow. And we are heading towards it. There has been new discussions to a change of economic policies internationally and the Austrian School of Thought have been gaining grounds. We shall wait for the 2012 US elections to know exactly our fate is... When US will change its direction towards free market, the rest of the world will follow.... if not, then we will change it through war.

a start towards eliminating poverty is to cut taxes progressively, give way to free market, encourage full competition, shrink government size, and make laws compatible with the protection of individuality, liberty and property. As of now, everything is vague due to the shades of socialism...

^^ I see that what you are proposing is more government intervention, consistent with the beliefs of most politicians... to effect prosperity, the government should mind the business of people...family, educations, employment, etc...and the government should guarantee them for every citizen.... consistent with socialism...a shade lower than communism...

    1. Corrupt Officials - Eliminate all corrupt officials for they are 1 of the main reasons why Philippines is
    still struggling from poverty.

    2. Quality Education - We are ranked as 63 out of 100... Our Government should improvise our educational system in order to compete and give best and quality education...

    3. Family Planning - Its an obvious fact that we keptmultiplying each year. So its wise to have family planning.

    4. Philippines - Will surely rise from poverty. If only, each one of us is united, helping and seeking for a brighter future not only for self-interest but also for the best of the country.
