ganahan sad ko n naa ug mag start thread about ani pero im just not confident of how much i know about it but i really appreciate ur open minded approach on this...though i am not personally using it but id really wanted to use it but dli pa ghapon ma stable ako BP so ok na lang...but since im in the industry and around friends where this matter is normal, i really understand them because of the word "competition", now for those people who thinks these substances are BAD, then yes it is -->''when OVERDOSED and used in an UNETHICAL manner". I have a lady friend who injects steroids -WTF a lady using roids?! YES for her medical condition...and it was prescribed by her doctor. So steroids are bad huh?!
How about this: Are there health benefits that we can get from smoking cigarettes?
From my own experience. Nag gym ko mga 4 or 5 years ago then tungod lage nga I wanted to gain weight and muscles faster than normal, I decided to buy protein shake and creatinine. As far as I could remember, sige ko'g inom ato until I quit after 5 months. A year later, nasakpan nga nagka-hematuria ko (dugo sa urine) through our annual physical check up sa company. Of course, nakuyawan ko then the day nga nakigkita ang company doctor sa akoa was also the time nga na-ospital ko due to amoebiasis. Sa akong urinalysis, the doctor, a nephrologist, nakigkita nako sa hospital and confirmed nga I had this kidney disease called glumerulonephritis. Wala may bato akong kidney kay gi ultrasound man sad ko ato but negative. After 3 years, gi ignore nako akong sakit thinking nga maayo ra but I was wrong. Just last month, na-hospital nasad ko due to acute bronchitis and naa gihapon ang dugo sa akong ihi. This time, the same nephrologist from the same hospital told me nga this is my second chance and should be concerned of sa akong sakit kay it would lead to kidney failure. She even advised me to not eat meat at all. Tungod kay medyo I have apprehensions ani nga nephrologist, my mom decided to have me checked with Cebu's popular nephrologist Dr. Ophelia Buot of Asian Renal Care. I heard a lot of very good feedback ani nga doctor nga makapabuhi daw ug 50/50 nga patient and everything. I was scheduled December 9 11:30AM and 7:00PM nako niya na check up. Imagine? She even told me nga I could still eat normal diet. Ako pud diay siyang giingnan nga akong suspetsa ani akong sakit tungod atong protein shake nga akong giinom and she told me nga naa jud daw ning sakit nga ingon ani sa mga mag gym.
My nephrologist told me nga depende daw so possibly, maka cause gyud siya ug kidney damage. Just seek advise lang una sa imong physician about taking supplements before using. Lisud na kay kuti kaayo ni tambalan ang kidney.
that was a very informative one sir...but so far in my long years sa industry murag wla mn may nagka complicate when using protein shakes...depende sa brand, naa uban n brands nga naay disclaimer which says if you will join contests with regulations for drug testing you may test positive if you use this product... "some" brands ra ha, but these are usually on energy and strength enhancing products and not on protein supplements like whey... u also mentioned creatinine so it might also be the case, im not a medical practitioner but there are actually some common compounds that is technically safe for the general public and toxic for the unfortunate few...so basin lahi or naay adverse reaction sa imo gi take...but thnx for the post ill look into this coz its interesting...![]()
Guys pag use nalang mo ug Glutathione Accelerator for that, mas safe pa and effective pa jud.
anyway.. possibly rna.. anything can cause kidney damage.. even without whey protein and creatine.. remember these are supplements.. to supply what is missing.. there are a lot of causes sa kidney damage.. one of it is excess nutrients that overburden the work of the kidney.. always drink alot of fluids when taking supplements.. if you ask me.. i drink 1-3 gallons of water a day.. because of my protein intake, supplements i'm using including multivitamins and the sort.. remember.. a nephrologist can say that because whatever you take works your kidney.. you should also ask a nutritionist..research.. ask.. before taking any supplements.. also read the instructions at the back
