Please help me guys... No display and Numlock is blinking continuously..

I have a laptop which is Compaq presario cq40-310au.. its having a problem just today.. When I tried to turn it on it doesn't turn on and its numlock is blinking continuously... I tried some steps I saw on some sites like turning it off and press the power button for 1 min. and also 40 sec. but still no display and still having that blinking...

It only indicates:
-Num Lock is blinking continuously..
-no display at all or no POST because I can't see anything from the start...

Please help me with this guys..

Mao lagi bro.. sa subra ka putos sa laptop halos was kagawsan ang kainit.. lindot ta cya kay ni last jud cya ug 4 yrs.. sayangan lang jud ko.. do you have any advice nga akong buhaton? I saw one video but not sure kung makasulbad to.. please advice naman po mga bro.. thank you..

Did you try replacing memory bai?basin dili nana madalag reseat. nakasugat na ko ug memory problem of an old compaq board..magblink pud iya numlock..
