i had my 1st ILA PUTI experience last night, it was the 2nd time for my gf. place wasnt too crowded at that time, there were like 4-5 tables being served.

we ordered the stroganoff(light one), dragon pork chops, gambas, straberry kiwi and mango shake.

the service crew was nice, they were friendly, all smiles, didnt hesitate to explain what the dish is. we didnt have to wait for a long time for the food, they came at around 15~ minutes, no big deal. the dragon porkchops were a little bland, i thought they said it was marinated overnight. the meat just around the bone was still raw. the stroganoff, tasted pretty good but since we ordered the light version, was indeed very light. much smaller than the 1st time my gf went there but that was 3 years ago. even the strawberry kiwi had gotten smaller. the mango shake was TINY. probably 250ml? the only difference from other restos is it was creamy/milky but in my opinion TOO TINY for 150php. the gambas was kinda disappointing, only 15-16 pieces of shrimp, and these arent the big, juicy ones, they too were barely bite-size. some were even smaller than those found in pre-packed chopsuey/pinakbet mixes in supermarkets.

and the weirdest part, was when they came in with the change. the change was supposed to be 59.50, but they didnt have any coins so they gave us 70 and asked if we had 11. I said no, couldnt you go out and ask for change elsewhere? the girl just looked at me. where is your common sense? she just said she'll take the 20 pesos. so we came out 9.50 short, no big deal. but the overall experience was ugh.

dont know if it was coz there was no management around, or its the effect of 3 yrs of being commercialized, but im never going back there. even if its for free.

ILA PUTI is my WORST ! tsk tsk tsk

just 2 days ago, we went there with my wife. amoang 1st fine dine date after a long time.
we were the 1st diners that nyt.

upbeat pa kaayo ko ni rapport sa waitress "napa tong inyong talamban na branch miss?" with a smile pa ko.
ug dihang..... mockingly with saka pa sa kilay "wa man miy talamban na ila puti."
i said" murag naa man miss"
nya pa-back-up dayun siya sa usa sa tupad nga murag mas sweto kunuhay. segunda pud dayun" USA ra man juy Ila Puti sukad".

with matching sarcasm of the tone. dayun kinataw-anay ang duha.
    yay! kakuyaw!

wa na lang ko ni lalis kay galibug napud ko. basin tuod "Ila Itom" to.

but wa jud ko kaantus akong gpangutana ang usa ka waiter. "Bay di ba naa may Ila Puti sa talamban sa una?"
Waiter said " Yes Sir ! Didto man ni gasugod ang Ila Puti."

Nawa akong pagka kalmado nga pagkataw. akong giingnan sa Inday "tan-awa naa man lagi. How come wa ka kahibaw sa imong companiya day?"
with clouds i said to myself " sarcastic pa kaayo mo handle ug query sa inyong diner."

ug igo ra niingun ang kumag "imong drinks sir? unsa man?"... ha? blunt deadma diversion?

askaaaaaa! mauna ni service na akong gibayran?!!

Please train your crew how to handle customer comments/questions nga di sila familiar. dili kay stoppan lang tag dretso.
Even if the comment is coming from non-dress-up customer.
murag nakaminus tingali ay kay gashorts and shirt ra ko, RH-look.

daghan pa nig bad moments on that single visit..... unya na lang.
