Default No response from China on appeal to save OFWs on death row

Chinese embassy Deputy Chief of Political Section and spokesman Ethan Sun Yi reiterated that China conveyed last week to the Philippines that the verdict is final and executory.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said a Catholic priest will accompany the members of the Filipino convict’s family when they visit him before he is brought to the death chamber.
The convict will learn about the carrying out of the death penalty only on the day of his execution in China’s Guangxi province.
China last week refused a visit from Vice President Jejomar Binay to ask for mercy for the Filipino on death row and said the execution would not be delayed.

Sad but we must respect the law of China, mas maayu ibalik na lang nato ang death penalty diri pinas. What do you think about this?

what do u want? To always bend the law in the name of mercy ? Some countries enforce the law with utmost efficiency and SPEED. while we lollygag our way into enforcing the law, we should realize that mercy for a wrong done is the wrong approach. Mercy for a criminal WRONGLY accused, that's a more humane and ethical thing to do.

YES! Bring back the death penalty and bring on the swift justice.

this is one good thing about China! "iron will" in enforcing the law, dapat lang na mabitay to xa, kahibaw gud xa na illegal iya dala coz it was not his first time carrying drugs abroad. He still did it even though illegal, so face the consequence..

Agree ko ani, ibalik gyud nato ang death penalty whether ang kaso rape, illegal drugs, para bitay pud ang chinese magda ug drugs diri. Siguro Philippines dili strikto sa balaod mao na tambakan ug drugs diri.

Ang problema ani babagan ta sa mga obispo if i uplift balik ang death penalty.. hahaha.
