There should be no extra fee's or anything. Samsung as a nationwide warranty in the Philippines as long as you have the official receipt and the unit has an NTC sticker there should be no issues what so ever.

For those who own the Note, update namo to XXKK9, the performance increase is HUGE! Its now running as fast or even faster than the Galaxy S2. The only time the slow downs occur when you use the pinch to zoom out on the app drawer and home screen.
