@Frozen: i'm just correcting you. nga dili lang karon ng sugod ang tax sa allowances.. as previously pointed out, some allowances are tax exempt.. some are not.. the problem of us is sometimes we whine alot without knowing the issue first..

just like this issue of taxing SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig contribution.. did you even bother to know what is VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTION and what is mandatory contribution.. did you happen to check who and what constitute VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS? if yes, you can see the logic of taxing them since they are enjoying the benefits or return of investment just lik ordinary workers who are under mandatory contribution..

ang akoa lang, lets examine first the issue before ta mg yaw2x.. okies?
minimize na lagi ang night life sio..

chill dude.. government's role is to tax its people.. taxation is not bad.. what we need to do is to correct several corrupt practices..

try to contemplate on this, kung pan-os na ang pgkaon (spoiled food) dili na diay ka mo kaon? obviously imong buhaton mangita ka ug lain makaon (food).. parehas ra sa goberno, it doesn't make sense nga dili nlang ta mo tax kay abi naay corrupt nga government workers..

we are all doomed to die, ingon pas akong favorite philosopher, the moment we are born we are doomed to die, will that stop us from making every effort to live life?

Dapat sabton nga duna mga companies or individuals who are "circumventing" the TAX Law by bloating the remittances so as the bottom line of their TAXABLE INCOME after EXPENSES (net) will decrease.

ACtually ang maigo ani kay kadto ra man nag CONTRIBUTE UG SOBRA SA mandatory remittance to the GSIS, SSS or PAG-IBIG.

We should know that the employee's contribution is only 40% while the 60% is shouldered by the employer.
In cases where you are self employed, you pay everything but i believe you have to apply and the computation is different.

Atoa lang sah sabton una ta mag bagul-bol!

Definitely not...di nga naten alam where they put our taxes. Sobra na yan BIR na yan. Go after the big businesses who do not pay the right taxes. Wag nyo ipasan lahat ng tax kay Juan.

be informed that this will be applied to VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS only.. employees who are having mandatory contribution are exempted of this taxation..

indirectly, businessmen are the target of this since some of them are contributing more, where in effect they can get more return (benefits)..
