Did all the SC justices work for PGMA in the past? I don't think you even know what Drilon's train of thought is, because it seems you think Corona should inhibit himself just because he was appointed by her. That is not at all why he is being asked to inhibit himself. That's just common sense...
again read the previous post. You're arguing with a retracted clause.

That is exactly the train of thought. They are making it a case that because of his association, the decision will be rigged. That's poppycock. Carpio is ALSO playing with partisanship, if Drillon actually intended to make his intentions a case for impartiality, he would have said: ALL justices, and not single out just one (who incidentally is the obstacle of an apparent vendetta). He is not thinking for the sake of impartiality, he is thinking for the sake that their case is weak, contrary to what they have always said in their press releases. They already have a coalition of the DOJ and the COMELEC (which is supposed to be an independent body) as a investigation panel.

Even if CJ Corona will inhibit himself from any CGMA cases, every time a ruling will favor the past president all other justices appointed by the previous administration will be branded still as "rubber stamps" of CGMA.
And if we will follow the logic of Drilon, all the other justices appointed by the present administration MUST also inhibit themselves as well. So, where are we going?

Precisely why sensitive cases that has to be resolved by the SC are more often deliberated En Banc to keep the sanctity of our system called DEMOCRACY. If both parties can't dig that, we might as well embrace MARTIAL LAW once again.

Why should he inhibit? first hes only presiding over the SC second he doesnt have the monopoly of votes nor the veto power, every rulings are voted upon. So if CJ Corona inhibit out of close ties or he's a GMA appointee then as what tikud had said the other GMA appointee justices should inhibit as well. But how about those justices appointed by Penoy ? arent they biased on him?

Corona should have been the first one to correct their spokesperson in stating that all requirements have been complied by CGMA to allow her to go abroad. But mismo ang spokesperson stated that he was just coached by Corona on what to say. So who's the liar?

Anyways, the doctors of CGMA have spoken. CGMA's claim that her condition is getting worse and would need medical intervention abroad is a TOTAL LIE and the defense has withdrawn their appeal to the hold departure order. So those who voted to revoke the hold departure order made the wrong decision in the first place. They should correct themselves if they say they are indeed unbiased.

maski katong gi-allow si erap sa May 10, 2010 election kai si Erap gitugtan for re-election. wa man gud gibutang dito nga excluded ang president who resigned.

If they want to inhibit someone just cuz its a hindrance to what they're trying to do its NOT fair play. Its like a game you both have two teams same composition 3 on 3 but the other team cried unfair! cus one member is just soooo good on playing that they want him out of the other team. A childs play i say this inhibit thing its an act of desperation on Abnoys camp.

If they want to inhibit someone who is clearly an ally of FGMA/ then might as well inhibit the other 7 appointees or better yet suspend the SC branch altogether.

PNoy: "No matter what the law or legal order coming from the highest court in the land says, as long as I believe these to be biased against me and favor only a select few, I am intimated broadly in defying the Rule of Law. I am ready to do this because at my side are the moral right and judgement, and the truth, and more than anything, the Filipino people are on my side." (In his speech delivered during the National Bureau of Investigation's 75th Anniversary, Nov. 23, 2011).

This comment clearly shows ABNOY is becoming ABOVE THE LAW or wants to if HIS interest is denied.
