Default Cartoons and Anime: Your Thoughts

Hello guys. Naghimo ko karon ug attitude scale about attitudes towards animated shows and films, including American cartoons and Japanese anime. As part of the activity, kailangan ko mo-gather ug mga statements regarding this.

So mangutana unta ko kung unsa ang inyong general opinions or views sa cartoons and sa anime. Sa kada opinyon ninyo, i-type siya in sentence form. For example:

    - "Animated shows are an enjoyable form of entertainment."
    - "Animated shows are not good for children."
    - "Animated shows are boring."

Walay limit sa pila imong pwedeng i-type na mga statements. Kung ganahan ka 5, okay ra. Kung ganahan ka 20, pwede sad.

    Salamat sa inyong panahon.

Partly, since we have specifically been told to ASK others about THEIR OPINIONS on this topic. Why do they think watching cartoons is good? Why do they think it's bad? We need to gather statements first.

If that was not part of the instruction, this topic may not have existed.

If you want a more formal version of this, you can proceed to this link instead:

IMO, animated shows are generally good for entertainment.

Both Western (American) - style cartoons and Japanese anime shows focus on (trying to) express humanistic values, such as friendship, loyalty, courage, etc. Often these shows are appreciated more by younger viewers because of the ease in identifying with the protagonists (and sometimes, the antagonists). Some notable anime examples are Naruto, Gash Bell, Viewtiful Joe, One Outs, Hajime no Ippo, etc. [Generally, these are the sports-themed shows]

Some of the more hardcore violence-themed ones (i.e., Blood+, Rurouni Kenshin, Kurozuka, etc.) have a more serious (sometimes political) theme, and generally come with a PG warning. Our local stations have enough "common sense" to edit out gory scenes (if any), and minimize the apparent violence without compromising the storyline.

The more "daring" and "mature" shows (i.e., Needless, Love Hina, basically any show that displays a lot of skin and/or skinship [please refer to Physical intimacy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for a more detailed explanation] falls under this category) generally are restricted to teens or older, and have a constant PG warning.
