it is illegal not because of it's supposed harmful effects to us... kita pa kaha mga pinoy mahadlok anang piranha nga mangaon man gani tag cobra... It is illegal because it poses a great threat to our river ecosystems and native freshwater fish species... dili tao ang kinaon sa piranha, isda and other aquatic animals... to think daghan kaayo mga badlungon og mga suyaon nga mga tao nga impulse buy lang og piranha tungod kai COOL or kai sikat kaayo ila pamati kung naa sila ana, then kung dili na sila kahibaw mo galam or mamatyan nag usa, buhian dayon sa sapa... what do you think will the effect of that bring our native fish? wipeout silang tanan... just sharing my two cents...

^_^ hinuon kung managhan ang piranha diri mas lami pa sguro siya kaysa janitor hehehe... ,, para nako it was all bec. of media ^_^ kay kung ordinary fish to like janitor fish fry or carps ang na sakpan sa airport? ila ra nang pasudlon kay the thought of it being harmless made them clueless kung unsay ma htabu sunod ^_^ but bec. of media they now knw the capabilities of the piranhas which was not fact but stil they blved it hehehe... just my opinion ^_^ piranhas are fascinating to watch ... ,,, kung ang customs cguro ug DENR tig tanaw ug river monsters . wa ta kybaw ma band unya diay nang mga aligator gar ug uban pa hehehe samot na nang snake head ... invasive keo na sila ^_^
