yes sir we do accept volunteers but as of now naka kuha nami ug mga OJT's from USJ-R so murag dli siguro sa mi mgkuha na ug lain. But sa streets during the parade mgkuha jud mi ana sa office lng namo dli na.

If anyone can attend this coming December 01, 2011 meeting with Cebu Photo Alliance, regarding the Sinulog 2012. Attend mo para ma open up inyo concern sa coming Sinulog tentative venue is either Off-Road Coffee Shop, Panagdait or Mango Park Hotel in Mango

but they shud be certified by the council since SF is a big NGO... coz the council's main goal is about TRANSPARENCY and upholding INTEGRITY... and the encourage us filipinos to be vigilant...

Yes mastermike i hope the can produce a breakdown sa 1k reg fee...

Anyways... i hope naka sabot mo sa akong point here... let's be curious and be well informed in whats happening in our society... let's be vigilant... mu act ta daan b4 things happen... let's not take things as it is w/o knowing the reasons, the WHYs, and the HOWs... I know and SF knows sinsiyo ra ang 1k for ALMOST all photogs but that doesnt mean "OK ra kay afford ra"... "sagdi nalang"... "di btaw ako na bayad c mama/papa btaw"... di na pwede... again be vigilant thats the least u can do to show that u care for ur photography and the country...

I am still HOPING and PRAYING that SF will lower the reg fee... if not then c Senyor Santo Nino nya ang bahala nila...

oi pahabol... if possible the final 10 photogs ba.. pwede lahi ang mu judge? like c mayor mike, gov. gwen. and arch bishop palmas. It will really be a big impact... and it will be done on the day of the awarding.. dali raman cguro na...

Maau unta oi kung tagaan pud ug chance ang mga bagohay. Maayo unta kung madungog ang mga pangaliya nga mapaubsan pa ang reg fee.. Di man sa nag apas ta sa premyo or sa fame, but ang chance nga ma recognize pud ning mga naay potential bah, kung sa gitawag pa "newbie" . .

Dili lang kay kato lang gihapon ang mga past winners ang makadawat ug dungog. We know life is unfair, but I am still hoping nga by next year naa pud unta tay makita nga mga names na dili pa kaayo tantong dominante sa Sinulog Photo Contest. Seems like every year naman gud ta makakita ug the same names when it comes to contest like this. Aw hinuon, equipped ug hanas na sad kaayo na sila diha nga matang pero ang ako lang pud is ma recognize pud unta ang mga individual nga ka pila na ni apil ana nga contest. I am not pointing out to someone but I am just sharing my thoughts dire nga thread.

Hopefully, the meeting will be productive and constructive. But I don't think anything new will be coming out except for the announcement of higher registration fees. It's a done deal. Makes me wonder why Sinulog Foundation is funding dancers from other provinces just to participate in the Sinulog. Does it mean there won't be a Sinulog without them?

Accepting SF is an NGO, why are there political figures and government executives in its organization? It's like saying City Hall is also an NGO. It would have been credible to say SF is a city government entity. And I won't be surprised by the way it is run and managed. I won't be shocked with its revelation that Cebu is contracting mercenaties to dance and participate in Sinulog street dancing contest at P100K - P150K. I wonder if Rio de Janeiro is also importing dancers in their mardi gras.

because they are not a Private Organized NGO but a Govt Organized NGO or GO-NGO, it is same thing with GOCC only that they are NGO, make sense?

one thing im expecting karon sinulog is wala nay manghikap sa lubot... nyhahahahahahaha.... nag tuo guro to ang gihikap na lubot sa ako wife... ako man diay...
