Default You are what you eat

90% of illnesses or diseases can be traced from the food intake that we eat. Hereditary issues can be blamed because children eat the same food as the parents, hence Doctors perhaps would claim the disease is hereditary. Yes, there is a high propensity towards the illnesses but if you change what you eat you can change the overall effect especially if you are young.

If you take the same route as your parents did eat the same food definitely you will fall into the same trap. Perhaps we can get some feedback from other whether they share the same experience or not.

Good healthy food - fruits and vegetables -has always been a luxury for me and is really expensive. Herbs serve as a foundation for medicine with herbal remedies are now getting expensive. Solution?? not when you are able to produce hi-density fish(cholestorl free) and vegetables(herbs and spices) in your own garden-backyard. Hi density means you are able to produce more in less space. That means, productivity. That is what makes Singapore powerful. Producing efficiently in a limited space. We can do that as well.

Yes, please PM for details. Budget to set up depends on how much you want to produce, go for low end or high end. This will be part of the topic and to help you make a cost effective decision. Just like building a house - bamboo nipa hut or hollow blocks/GI sheet. Will help you to get started. Range 1,000 to hundreds of thousands...Learn Aquaponics and get started by doing...

you are what you eat was meant as healthy eating results in healthy people. Eating pork is like smoking - sometimes some people have the genetics to overcome the consequence while they are young but in the long run - a slight disturbance creates an immediate downhill effect and chances of recovery are slim.

Religious leaders have twisted the bible interpretation and tried to blend with the Romans (pagans eating pork) so to accomodate the Romans - so "christians" now eat pork. Jews and Muslims still stick to the tradition. Pork is really tasty - but the consequence and statistics are obvious. When I eat "steathily" I could feel my neck tighten... Hence, slow down and avoid.

this logic is not really necessary to convey your point on eating pork. let the religious stay in peace.

    a. Unfortunately, most people still belong to the "4 basic food groups" and have not yet evolved. Next comes the "Pyramid" level - unfortunately perhaps only .01% of the Filipinos know about your "macronutrient" - or even understand "micronutrient"..

    b. I do very much wish not to touch on this "religious" stuff - but just cannot help to separate the body from soul from the mind. If people are not guided(proper care and nutrition) about their body - where the soul/spirit resides - what mind shall they have? You can see that in 60% of the Filipinos? Thus making this country a hopeless case.

The chinese knew these thousands of years ago, balance (yin-yang)of the mind-body-spirit. A corrupted body results in corrupted mind even if the spirit/soul does not agree.

If you are able to manage your food intake - how come still so many "rich" people get sick especially in the Philippines. Daily stress is another major contributor - silent killer, stress from work, stress from family, stress from noise, disturbance and anything that affects the mind.

We are well aware of "adrenaline rush", exciting situations causes our hormones to respond and our body react immediately to a situation. The mind is another factor that influences our internal organs, just as when we "see" green mango - we start to salivate, when we watch a basketball game - visual stimulus gets us to over react.

There are positive and negative situations and results in negative and positive aspect - happiness or depression. Food or appetite can influence depression - for me, I eat a lot when I am depressed or good food takes depression out but the effect is I'm getting overweight.

Thus, managing the mind and spirit - through relaxation and exercise can help a lot. If you have adrenaline(excitement) in your system, you should burn this up by exercising else, the hormones turn to toxins... Stay, fit, happy and glow...
