hi guys, im planning to setup a torrent rig... then akong gamiton unta is intel atom nga musupport ug ddr3, bsan single core lang unta.. unfortunately, pagtawag nako sa store nga akong palitanan... ang tag.iya mi.ingon siya ni.stop sa daw sila sa intel atom kay daghan daw problema ilang na.encounter ani.. mao ning murag gduha2 ko if mulahos ba ko ug intel atom setup...need your opinion guys esp. sa naay first hand experience ani... unsay maayo ani nako buhaton. TY

if purely for torrent rig Atom is the best value for money.
But if you plan to use it as a player/home entertainment at the same time... go for any LGA1155 boards with preferred processor.

ako server (netbook) kai intel atom ang processor
host OS: winxp
guest OS: Linux (Asterisk PABX), 3x WinXP

2x winxp = pag connect sa skype sa asterisk PABX
1x winxp = audio streaming
mo kamang siya kung mag dugan ug ka busy atleast 2 wixp nga guest

bisan pa tingali ug Pentium II class PC kay pwede i-torrent ^_^

however..., since need man "energy efficient"..., dako ra ka-ayo ug ka-on ang dual-core (if dili intel atom imo mean)

mao ni ako set up pang torrent, intel atom nga dual core. sulit ra kaau sya since it consumes only less than 25 watts... and didnt find any problems, gud for surfing also ang very light gaming like counterstrike

so far maka play ug 720p, pero kng 1080p na mag kamang na sya.

ask lang ko unsa ni nga atom board? D945GCLF2/D or D525MW or something?

kay ang ako current atom is D945GCLF2 with Astone Enforcer Mini nga case with an old 40GB IDE hard disk.
