You know you're Filipino when,

- You squeeze your white heads using the car's rear view mirror after parking... dugay gyud kagawas sa sakyanan. ***Pickles***

- When you point with your mouth/chin when somebody's asking where you placed something.

- When you bring a rice cooker with you in hotels, especially when long-distance driving. Heheh... true, my friend's mom here in the States always brings her rice cooker. Can't do without rice. Me too!

- When you collect ketchup from McDonalds or Jollibee.

- When you're always an hour late... in parties, meetings, gatherings, the (not-so-important) appointments.

- When you say "pwerabuyag" everytime someone praises you or your baby. Basin mabuyagan.

- When you say "tabi intawn" when peeing outside, or throwing garbage, or passing along big creepy trees.

- When you stay awake Christmas and New Year's eve. Them people here just sleep through xmas and new year, way lami.

- When you go to the mall even if you're not buying anything. Pabugnaw sa aircon.

- When you still consider yourself not broke even if you don't have a life savings, just some money in the pocket will do.

- When there's economic crisis all malls are still packed.

- When you're likely to live beyond your means. Too expensive gadgets like cellphones, branded clothes and shoes, bisan gamay ra sweldo halaaa palabi gyud.
