the very fact that he is welcoming these series of salvagings by not condemning them is evidence enough that he is making 'pogi points'. by justifying the need for such violence and using the memories of Dizon and Yungco as banners, he is in effect allowing this kind of unaccountable crime to propagate.

it is as if we are saying that the answer to an continous increase in the crime rate are summary executions of suspected individuals. the sheer naivete of this idea is all too apparent. and it is sad that we play along as if it were the right thing to do.
