Treatment of choice for Mange???

additional lng: i also concacted a borax paste. like i mix a cup of borax powder, add a few squirts of hydrogen peroxide (agua oxinada), the add water. then i mix xa hangtud mura na xa paste but not to runny. kanang sakto lng na mupilit sa fur. then massage the paste for 5-10minutes, kanang masahe na murag imo jd ipapenetrate ang paste sa skin, sa tibuok lawas not just on the affected area before bathing, bas-a lng xa gamay pra mupilit. then let it stay for 30mins to 1 hr then i-bath na, no need to let it stay on them after bath so they dont make a mess sa inyong balay! lisura raba silhigon, hahahah

i did this on the 2nd try na. i find it more convenient. cheap ra jd ang borax, like Php35-50 per kilo. forgot exactly how much but barato ra jd.

try borax powder (ayw nang boric acid!!! hahaha), naa sa mga hardware store baligya - ayw tong mga naa sa lata, kana lng murag itakos2x lng nila (mura xa pulbos tan-awn) white powder na xa. i google lng ninyo how to prepare (earthclinic has a nice how to guide), effective xa. but FYI lng, paugha inyo doggie sa gawas kay kng mejo basa pa xa and pasudlon ninyo sa balay, gudluck nlng sa furnitures lol, kay mgputi2x! so paugha sa gawas, then if uga na, ibrush lng but not too hard kay pra maretain some of the powder. by the way, gamaya lng ang hydrogen peroxide (pwd ra dili ka follow sa advised amt), kay my dog vomited jd, which is expected labi na kng tilapan nila ilang lawas, but not life-threatening pro kng OC mo gamaya nlng pra pud peace of mind.

effective xa on my 2 dogs, i think mga pit bull kay mejo prone to mange. and kani mn gud among 2 aspins naa ni sila mix pit bull but really small percentage na. first application, nidecrease ilang itching and the fur grew back in a matter of 3 days. as in nistart jd tubo ang kadtong bald spot. on the first week siguro mga twice a week iapply then decrease frequency hangtud mawala na ang mange.

effective jd btaw cxa but sa pagkakaron kay glagot na jd ko sa mange kay luoy na ayu ako retriever kay g.blik2 jd ang mange.. ill try sa uban solutions nga ako na.research and sa mga solutions dre..hehe..

ang doggies choice naa rnah sa mga agrevit, hardware sa mga mall, naa mn gane nah sa groceryhan sa sm, colonaide og etc2. hehe..

naa nko nhuna2an.. pwo basin huna2 ra dako nko ani.. maau mn ang pahak sa akng dog sa kto soap (doggies choice).. ang poblema nlng ky pgmaintain nga d na mbalik.. mamili nlng ta ninyo sa buy and sell og supplement like ka sir ironwood or ka isparkol.. kng asay mas mkauyon ang inyo dog ky eshare ninyo ah? tinabangay ta aning poblemaha.. microscopic infestation versus people of istorya!!! hehehe.. good luck nto.. share mo mga bro ah.. mg atang2 nlng ko lamat daan..

akong gibuhat ron kay shampoo na doggies choice na orange(anti mange) ug supplement gkan ni sir ironwood.... still waiting sa reults, so far iya ulo nibaga na iya hair hehe, nag sugod mani lagas hais sa ako dog kay naka kaon ug chicken, allergic man , den nanaghan man ang hair loss spots kai sigi ug scatch

effective talaga ang doggies choice I can attest to that, 10 months ago my dachshund was infected by mange, nawala ang mga balahibo nya sa may bandang lubot hangang sa hind legs nya it was a long battle / marami na akong na try na mga solutions pero negative results.

For people with mange problems, here are some things I do (hope this helps)
-ginupit ko ung mga balahibo surrounding the affected area (kinikit kit kasi ng grabe ng aso ung affected area kapag nasasagian ng balahibo) which in turn mas lumalala ung kaso kasi sa kaka lick and kit kit ng aso dumudugo ang nagsusugat ung affected area

-since nagsusugat ung affected area what I do is wash the affected area first with soap (safeguard nga ginamit ko dati) then after, I apply VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil - Bambi ung ginamit ko mga sir ung mga nabibili sa grocery store) I do this para lumambot ung galis and madali lang ung pag alis nung parang mga flakes.

-then after which kapag malinis na thats the time papaliguan ko na ung mga aso using dogies choice shampoo (ginamit ko is ung green na may Madre Cacao component which is a Natural Treatment for galis)

-nagpapaligo ako ng aso twice a week mga sir (I do this para hindi ma-apektuhan ung production ng natural oil sa buhok ng aso) then every now and then I check the affected area, wash it and apply VCO.

Right now OK na ung dachshund ko bumalik na ung dati nyang balahibo (I also have 3 rescued ASPIN dogs na nagkaron din ng mange, I applied the same practice and all of them are doing well now)

Take note that Im just sharing these again basing on my experience mga sir ok / Ofcourse recommended pa rin ung pagpunta sa inyong mga VETs for proper care and diagnosis / good PM Istoryan's.

Around April my brother picked up a puppy by the sidewalk near our house. It was cute and all save for the mange infestation. We tried germicidal soaps and ointments, none of which worked. Brought him to the vet cos it was painful to see him scratching all over and he'd be crying all night. The vet injected him with Ivomec. Dosage depends on weight, so the medicine's efficacy depends on correct administration and dosage. Our dog was injected with Ivomec every Monday for a month. He's been clear of mange for 7 months now. Worked like magic.
