    Default i5-2500K cpu setup

I need help with my planned cpu set-up.

I'm kinda into gaming, but I'm not that particular when it comes to settings. Low-mid settings will do as long as I can play the game. My screen resolution is 1440x900. I don't have plans to do SLI/CF at this moment, maybe in the near future, but I have plans to OC a bit. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Proc: Intel i5-2500K
Cooler: Tt Frio OCK (Open for suggestions. Not to exceed price range P3,500.)
    Mobo: Asus P8P67-M
    RAM: 1x4gb Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz Z4GX3M1A1600C9/B
Vcard: HD 6750 1 Gb DDR5 (Open for suggestions. Not to exceed price range P5,000.)

PSU: CM GX 550w (I currently have this one. Will this PSU be able to accommodate all the power consumption? Is this compatible with my planned GPU?)

    Budget: 25K

    Proc: Intel i5-2500K - approved

Cooler: CM V6GT performs and looks better IMO

Mobo: I would suggest you go for the Z68 based mobo (Asrock Z68-Pro M)

RAM: 1x4gb Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz Z4GX3M1A1600C9/B - approved but i suggest you go for 4x2GB (8GB) na drtso samtang barato pa kaayo ang RAM ron, ehehe... kung dili na kaya sa budget, 2x2GB nalang para maka dual channel mode ka...

Vcard: HD 6750 1 Gb DDR5 (Open for suggestions. Not to exceed price range P5,000.) - approved

PSU: CM GX 550w (I currently have this one. Will this PSU be able to accommodate all the power consumption? Is this compatible with my planned GPU?) - pde na ni... not the best performer there is for its class but certainly not an under-performer either...

You have a point sir since I can save a little bit money if I go with CM V6GT and can allocate that amount instead to buy Asrock Z68 Pro3-M mobo. Thanks.

Regarding RAM, I think I'll stick with 1x4gb and later buy another stick to make it 2x4gb (8gb) for dual channel memory because I currently have w7 32-bit OS that needs to be upgraded to 64-bit so I can utilize more than 4Gb memory.

whats the point of buying expensive CPU unya tag 5K ra nga card? this will not improve gaming.

I hope you have read my first post. I am not that particular when it comes to maximizing game settings 'coz I'm not a hardcore gamer. That vcard, i guess, will do for the time being.. If naa budget then I'm going to upgrade.. My budget is only 25K for the mean time. If you can suggest specs with that of having a 10K vcard and 5K cpu, etc., then I would appreciate it if you post it here so I can review and compare. Is there a good intel procie that is around 5K? I prefere 4 cores 'coz this cpu that i'm building is not only for the sole purpose of gaming, I will be also doing some work-related stuff. I usually open a lot of programs/applications at the same time. It's basically more of a balanced cpu.

    mabuhay ang mga dili minyu...lol

bitaw, go with a good CPU and motherboard.. Dont go to what you wont really need. you can Choose either z68 or P67 mobo.. btw, same ta imu first choice sa mobo same as my mobo karun.. you can go with the PRO version or maybe Z68 nalang jd ka. for a vcard, you can get atleast the 6770/5770 or GTS450 for now until you decide to get another Card..

Thank you for your input sir.

I think I can go with 6770/5770 if this will be my set-up.

    Proc: i5-2500K (P10,050)
    Cooler: CM V6GT (P2,600)
    Mobo: Asus P8P67-M (P5,850)
    Ram: 1x4Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz DDR3 (P1,650)
    GPU: HD 6770 (P5,400)

That AsRock Z68-Pro M is tempting since there's not much of a price difference between that of Asus P8P67-M.
