apparently Compubox and the judges didn't see huh? bai, again, dli ma base ang decision based on how solid a punch was or not, it's about dictating the pace of the fight. Had he actually pressed on Pacquiao instead of waiting for combination, evade/guard, counter-punch, then footworked out of range, I would be pretty disappointed too that he didn't win. If you're going to make the claim that he outclassed and outpoint Pacquiao then you'd easily be refuted with the Compubox statistics of the fight. Amir Khan admitted that it was Marquez's style that had him assume he won the fight, but after watching the fight again he pointed out the Pacquiao was definitely controlling the pace. Despite Marquez landing a higher percentage of his punches than Pacquiao, Pacquiao landed more in quantity and that's what scores points, not the thrown/landed percentage.

Pacquiao won, not because I am Filipino but because he is the winner. We cannot deny how good is Marquez in the ring but Pacquiao shows humility. Who else can do praying for his opponent's safety? It's Pacquiao my dear friends...Marquez on the other hand has the right to proclaim that he is the winner as he fought the best way he can, but judges decision must be respected as they are the expert...

There's a reason they're sports writers and not judges. Maybe you didn't consider that a lot of experts said that Marquez was not robbed too, by that I mean its an exaggeration a lot of sportswriters believed that Marquez was robbed. It's true it wasn't an impressive win, but the scorecards were done right.

i have pacquiao winning by 2 rounds.

there are punches that are better seen in slow motion and i think the punch stats are just correct.

ill do my version of punch stat tomorrow.

it happens in boxing, they have opposite boxing stance so normal rana matumban. And also sa side ni Marquez he don’t have time to sense and calculate where is Pacman’s foot to step on kay busy syag suntok sa target. Di kaha sya ma outbalance if e prioritize niya ang pagtunob sa tiil ni Pacman before punching? think about that

Why Manny Pacquiao won:
In a 10-point system, the boxer who wins a round is given 10 points, and the other boxer gets nine points. (10 -9)
... If there was a knockdown in the round (10-
2 knock downs (10-7)
... If a judge can't decide who won the round, it is scored 10-10.
Now if u are the challenger, u must be the aggressor (Pacquiao vs Cotto) in very close rounds the Champion gets the 10. For example if Pacquiao would just stay still and Marquez does not attack, Pacquiao gets the 10 and Marquez 9. In this case Manny(champion) was always aggressive while Marquez(challenger) waits for an attack and counters.
Marquez's body language fooled a lot of people. Making people feel that he was the winner or at least it was a draw. It may look like he was landing more punches but the tricky part here is he was on the defensive, luring pacquiao into his tactical traps (remember the challenger must be the one who is aggressive to be awarded 10 ). So even if Marquez did connect more punches he gets only 9 for being defensive and Manny gets the 10 for being the attacker.
Pacquiao got more "10"s than Marquez. Manny wins.
the Pacman will still win if Marquez gets another shot (4th).
