I had asils before... Crossed them with Western Gamefowls...

3 out of 4 of the 50/50 asil grade full brothers won in hackfights hehehe...

Asils are just one of the numerous kinds of Oriental fowls like Japs, Shamos, Parawakans, Thais etc...

Dagko jud ug kaon... Inig upa nila sa amerkano nga mungaan murag malata ang mungaan oi... My asils weigh around 2.2-2.4kgs...

Stopped breeding them to focus on pure western gamefowls since the whole grading process is just not worth it... Usik sa oras ug kwarta hehehe...

kay sa mindanao, a trio costs 1,500..kay among neighbor naa may rooster ani, nag dala sya ug trio gkan cotabato pero namatay ang 2 ka hen due to dehydration ang rooster ra na buhi, to bad wa ko pag abot nya, i can give those hens anti dehydration solution..karon, mag cge lng kog tan-aw sa iyang aseel..iboga nko ui...

is it a good thing to cross breed them to amerkanong manok as we call it?? i know nka try nka, hehe!...kay thats what I'm planning to do later...ill burrow my neighbors aseel rooster and mix it with my 3 lemon hens...is it good or bad??

Actually it is no secret ang pag infuse ug oriental fowls like asils sa western gamefowls...

The great Bobby Boles has been very successful fighting Jap grades in the gaff sa US saona... Advantage sa oriental grades ky early maturing plus they add that heftiness sa mga light bones fowls that are common traits with western gamefowls... Plus they are accurate and powerful hitters... Mao nga 1/4 to 1/8 oriental blood na jud ideal ana... But some are quite contented with 50/50... I think they are too slow at 1/2 though... Dako man gud cya ug kaon... Magka guwang magka bug-at... If grades maayo e away as a stag ky gaan pa ilang lawas...

Sa Pinas ang most notable breeder nga successful kaayo with oriental grades is the late speaker Ramon Mitra with what he calls his Mitra fowls... Karon iyang lines g continue sa iyang mga anak si Dado ug Baham Mitra... Presently big time breeders using asil grades is the Mica and Tonio entry of the Romulos and the tandem of James Clem Jr. of Oregon and former North Cotabato governor Manny Pinol who scored 7-1 this January sa World Slasher Cup using 1/4 Japs 3/4 Ray Price Blacks...

Sa imong question sir regarding Lemons... I think so... We'll never know unless we try it hehehe... Lemons are very famous sa Negros... They are said to be ring generals and very smart plus they are salto... Ang most commonly crossed with Asils are Hatches or blacks to compensate what Asils or any oriental fowls lack... Gameness and speed...
