    IN sad ko ani......

    just my opinion!!!

ohh.. so now you're basically limiting the context based on where this pesky animals came from eh?? ecleo might not be from cebu, but hey look at where he's doing havoc? Tomas is from manadue indeed.. but how about those victims, are they all from mandaue? and the victims of those victims are they from the same place?

you see.. this is what i'd like to point out also.. if indeed, these vigilantes are dead serious with their intentions, and i mean they are assertive enough to imposed what is just (for them) then it shouldn't purport to be subjective or qualitative.. why don't we just admit the fact that "they can't just easily pin down guys like ecleo and tedy for instance because they happened to be prominent people with a lot of hold both in private and government entities/sectors? i'd like to reiterate that i'm not totally in disagreement with killing those criminals.. so long as although they have deliberately took justice into their own hands and in a way made our police and justice system to look as something futile to rely on, then at least they could just have that sense of objectivity..

such thing is easy for us to say, looking at the scenario in kinda like bird's eye view.. but wait until you'll finally be put into that kind of situation.. i'll definitely salute you bro if you could happily, outrightly, and without any hesitation whatsoever kill your mother, father, brother or sister just by the thought that they happened to become criminals.. for all you know, you could somehow be an underlying reason why they were drag into such violence in the first place.. now, that's not possible right?

ah, ur mayor is reaping pogi points again. gi uto mo. sunod sad mo.

if u want a crime-free cebu based on FEAR, then this seems to be a good idea. the problem here is that, the law enforcers themselves are breaking the law.

what use is the law then if the people would assent to breaking it? we do not need those kinds of laws then. might as well burn those law books. tutal we dont follow laws anyway. we even approve of people using extrajuduicial punitive actions. is this unofficial martial law now? and this is what you call a democratic country. land of the free. you'd be squealling your ass off if ever someone would tag you for something you are not, getting salvaged in the process.

and can these 'hunters' be held accountable to the public? so that the power that they wield could be checked? NO. meaning, they can do whatever the hell they please. they have the power u know.

stupid are the people who think that the problem of criminality can be solved my letting the hen sit on the egg. curbsides being smeared with the blood of the untrialed is not justice.

and you honestly believe that this would be permanent? you take for example Duterte's Davao. what happens after Duterte leaves office or dies? who now controls what, and who will kill whom?

the fault with us is we try to kid ourseves into thinking that problems like these can be sovled with a brutal fist. you havent even appreciated the complexity of the quagnmire where such problems come from.

please people, do not try to peel off the paint of the house with a blowtorch! you may realize later that you do not have any house to paint anymore!

i think the mayor is not just reaping pogi points here, maybe he was just enraged on the sudden rise of crimes in the city lately...remember Arbet Yungco and Allan Dizon??

come to think of it people. don't you think it will be too nice of us if we will give them a quick death? shoot at an instant. if i happened to be one of the victims or one of my loveones happened to be the victim. then i would prefer to see those criminals suffer a slow, painful punishment, or even death right?
