.. that sets a web designer apart from the WYSIWYG designers? Oh well, if you read most of available jobs here in the US they always prefer those who can handcode HTML, makes you not wanna ignore the hassle of learning the simple task of reviewing your html knowledge, that is if you've become too used to WYSIWYG (editors) like Dreamweaver or Frontpage to build websites.
Hiring managers always prefer designers who can handcode, I think it only really makes a little time difference, because them can just pull out the website on the server and make some changes right then and pooof! Done! And also another fact is, these editors are limited at times, you really need to tweak your code to get much of what needs to be done or what your website needs to look like. Do you agree?
