It depends on what you will use it for.

For web:
1000px (long edge),@72dpi

For Printing:
High Res Jpeg or TIFF

My new PP workflow mostly is

Lightroom 2

1) Crop (if needed)
2) White balance correction
3) Exposure correction
4) Noise reduction
5) Export RAW to PSD

Photoshop CS2

1) Noise reduction again via NoiseNinja using Canon 450D's noise profile (made by NoiseNinja)
2) Subtle sharpening
3) Save as 60% JPEG file

Bro, I'm using Darktable for Ubuntu to process my photos. I can easily export RAW files to Jpeg at 1000px longest side but I can't set the DPI, only the image quality that I usually set to 85%. What's the equivalent percentage for 72dpi? thanks
