get your cameras, tripods, and long lenses ready... an asteroid is set to make a "near miss" Tuesday night... meaning this thing the size of an aircraft carrier is gonna be closer than the moon!!! the asteroid will be closest to the earth around 7:30am Wednesday, November 9 Cebu local time. but not sure when it will be in our field of view during the 11 hour viewing window.

this is what I love about photographers or photo-enthusiasts
instead of the spiritual & mental panicking & the usual "doomsday" frenzy
this "near miss" is an event of excitement. hehehehe

though I'm still crossing my fingers (even my toes hehe)
for that asteroid to be just "near-miss" doing a flyby instead of actually dropping by. hahaha
