Just because dili tinuod bai that doesn't mean tanga mi. Haven't you head of some people call "possibility?" The Anonymous group has hacked many semi secured sites so what if they really can hack and kill facebook but decided not to? Anonymous wasn't put into spolight bai just because of their fancy name or whatever, it's because of what they have done in the past.

BTW, this was not the first time Anonymous has announced to take on a target. It's part of their MO to send warnings to their targets.

Wala man sad silay ma kuha ba kung ilang i shutdown ang fb. If fb goes down, it will not have any significant effect on the economy. Maybe naay mag protest or mag suicide nga fb addict but other than that, kevs lang.

I think cred and bragging rights is a big thing among hackers, so taking down something like facebook would be considered a feat due to facebook's status as mainstream.
