I started with Nikon D60, then when I learned more about photography, dili na enough sa akoa ang D60, so I sold my Nikon D60 and changed my body to Nikon D90. Now, it seems like, I need a 2nd camera for my events and wedding coverage, I might buy another body again, but not to upgrade but profession calls for it. I am considering a more higher end camera, and this time I am considering something with Full HD video functions like the D7000.

Canon, mahal ang body but (relatively) barato ang lenses.

TS buy an entry level dSLR then play with it. Suway sad experiment sa imong pictures. First important things to learn is the shutter, aperture, and ISO. Good luck TS.

Recommended entry level dSLRs sa akong opinion lang:
    Nikon D3100
    Canon 1000D

real talent still exists. to me, real talent is making something special out of the available technology at the time.

yesterday, it was about film and a lot of people made their mark in the art of photography.

today, it's about digital raw files and post processing. still, a lot of people are making their mark in the art of photography.

tomorrow, who knows what's next. i'm pretty sure people will continue to make their mark in the art of photography.

the important thing is to adapt to new technology and make something special out of it. if you can't do that, just give up and get left behind.

the people who get left behind are the ones who usually complain that "talent is gone." but the reality is - real talent will continue to thrive.

    --------------------------------------------

but regarding choosing the right camera, get the one with the most useful features. good noise handling, AF without a motor, as many focus points as possible, etc etc. just make sure you know what your camera is capable of after buying it. study it inside out. test its limitations. and don't let those limitations become a crutch. find ways to make your shots better with or without the camera. mao ra jud nay importante. kibaw ka sa kaya sa imo gi palit, and find ways to go beyond it.

The important thing is you do not lose that beginners hunger for learning, keep on learning and discovering new things.

If niabot na ka sa imoha saturation, find someone that can inspire you again and bring that burning desire when you first started photography.

    Good luck and enjoy clicking!!!
