^^ i agree with you bro.

question: why do we call them "brothers" if they do what we expect them to do and "bandits" and "barbarians" if they don't? do we possess the standard for good behavior?

qualify good behavior. are we talking about personal character here?

is robbing robbing | kidnapping | beheading a character that qualify a good behavior? its far off from topic.

    i'll answer u.

    > brothers because muslims are filipinos as a whole.

    > bandits and barbarians are group of people who are robbing | kidnapping | beheading etc.

AND DOES NOT MEAN GENERAL MUSLIM POPULATION!

trolling my way to the thread? call that anything as you want.

i'm just furious how these bandits shouting jihad and independence killing and robbing innocent civilians.

and people here sympathize their cause.

and yeah, sorry for the language. i'm just sick and furious of this group.

and i forgot ur color is green

    sorry again.

So much for the money spent and the lives lost to take those camps

^^ you are right bro. same as klayton, even i don't like erap, but it's undeniable that i loved the man when he did that all out war.

flexing it's muscle and showing who is the boss and thus putting his " over my dead body " reply into action when milf asked for a separate state.

no wonder erap almost won last presidential election, garnering more than 7million votes and a landslide victory over his rivals in mindanao area.

it's a sign, most mindanaoans liked what he did to the milf.

GMA hand over the upperhand back to rebels. what a waste..

all out war will not resolve this problem it will only makes it worst.

more civilian will be displaced and for that same reason more will join to their cause.

wipe them out? i hope we are not joking.

i guess we really are simpletons.

the only way to kill a rebellion is to take away their cause. this is what fuels their heart and strengthen their resolve. but of course we do not see it that way. i guess we really are simpletons that's why we see only the surface of this conflict but not the root cause.

    Default GOV'T Vs. REBELS

PHILIPPINE TROOPS VS. MILF MNLF ABU SAYAFF NPA

Its been quite sometimes for years since the government are fighting with this insurgents. Most of the time neither party accuse each others of violation in their rights to uphold themselves. Peace agreements and pack have already been signed in every negotiation and there is always monetary consideration involve. Always Philippine Government admit and gave way to their request.. But what? recently a gun battle claimed the lives of more than 12 troops in one setting, What did the Philippine Government do?

Just make them heroes? DEAD HEROES?
Give some incentives and do nothing to run after the Terrorist?

And with this incident, it was dug out that millions and milliions of incentives are being given to their leaders (REBELS) just to make peace with your community. and government said no to all out war but instead ALL OUT JUSTICE.. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE?

THEY CANT EVEN FIND JUSTICE FOR THE SLAIN SOLDIERS

WHAT ABOUT THE MONETARY VALUE GIVEN TO THE TERRORIST? IS THIS JUSTICE?

    Default Re: GOV'T Vs. REBELS

if i may, lets identify their cause first:

MNLF/MILF/BIFF - secession, seeks an independent state
NDF-NPA/RPA-ABB - communist/terrorist, seeks to change the political system to communism
    ABU SAYYAF - Terrorist

Let's not label them REBELS as they have their own agenda id rather label them according to their cause... rebels are too general kay hasta ang mga nag coup ma apil.. let's be specific

if genocide is legal then we should have follow the SriLanka's strategy...

giving them money assuming it goes (really) for developing the area of conflict, is part of COUNTER-INSURGENCY campaign of RP-AFP

Research for Oplan Lambat-Bitag, and you'll know what i mean

our ISO problems is like bug-infested tree shake them up some bugs will fall, some bugs will cling and some bugs will fly.
    - the bugs that fall are individual/group the return to the folds of law thru amnesty program, the govt will help them stand again.
    - the bugs that clings on the leave, this is where the afp comes in to remove those pesky bugs
    - the bugs that fly away, these are the people just lie-low, and possibly will returned to the tree again.

now why gave them money? (again assuming its used as what they say)
developing the tree, so no bugs can infest on it again

this is how counter-insurgency works, our afp had perfected it already, ang problema lang kay masurambaw sa mga politico...

ako dili ko masuko ug tagaan silag kwarta as long as nagamit jud ang kwarta sa intended gamitan, pero kung dili gani aw lahi nana...

We are fighting 3-fronts of ISO, so doing an all-out-war should be a last resort...

its easy to call for an all-out-war if we are not the one who will fight!!!

if you guys really want an all-out-war, then fight outside, and not behind the keyboard.... (to anyone who wanted an all-out-war)
