can we also calculate for the number of bullets, mortar and howitzer rounds, and bombs used multiplied by the number of skirmishes the AFP have had against these rebels since peace talk was "implemented"?

    LISTEN to the RATIONAL minorities:
The Running Priest Fr. Robert Reyes on the Mindanao Conflict - YouTube

Let the Bangsamoro be given the chance to have their Substate; Let them choose their own leaders and govern themselves, let them have their own economic empowerment not just dependent on national government dole outs (which is NAA BA GYUD? or tua ra gihatag sa political dynasty who only usurped the legitimate beneficiaries).

Useless ra gihapon ang substate. Maski pila pa ka substate ang ihatag sa MILF, the bangsamoro people will never achieve their aspirations.. As what Adel Tamano said, "A substate solution is NOT a guarantee for peace and economic stability in mindanao."

Nindot na unta ang diskurso ni Robert Reyes until you reach 3:58 till the end of the video.. That's a BIG LIE, maybe out of the father's ignorance about mindanao. The reasoning that bangsamoro people lack representation in the government is a BIG LIE..

Depende sa imong concept and idea of the substate like if it is tailored-fit to what was formulated with the GPH and Moro National Liberation Front Final Peace Agreement of 1996. Then it is useless, but if the concept is like that of the US and that of Malaysian States, so be it.

The keyword there is "EQUALITY". Are the Bangsamoro people well represented equally in the Philippine government with the right leaders or only the political dynasties who were just accomodated by the more corrupt leaders of the Philippines and unjustly usurped and obscured the REAL aspirations of the Bangsamoro People?

we are talking about the proper allocation of resources. nobody will argue about the usefulness of the AFP in protecting the state (although one can argues on its methods), and nobody will argue that there are certain wars that we have to fight. the question now is, "is this war necessary?"

the effectiveness of the peace talks in not measured by how many years it has taken but on how the compromises and agreements are sincerely enforced. only those who cannot understand the depth of the historic problem of Mindanao can ever think that the issue can be resolved in a few months or years.

you can supply the figures, if you want. it would also be better if we also know how to classify these skirmishes; a violation of ceasefire agreements? one hand offering conciliation while the other is holding a dagger?
