SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH By Ernesto M. Maceda (The Philippine Star)

BUSINESS IS BAD. . . The last quarter of any year, October to December are traditionally boom months for business because of the Christmas shopping rush.

Businessmen tell us that with October gone, business is still slow. Aquino’s spending program has not been felt. The CCT has not perked up the economy.

This is also indicated by a DOLE survey that reported that Metro Manila employers have not been hiring new workers.

Asa na man ta ani padong oi?

i think if garcias and radazas (you see them as bad leaders, right?) will still get elected, then the problem is the electorate.... if bad leaders remain in power, for certain, the power is not with the people... they have been swayed by cheap political tactics that most oftenly stems from the rotten current system....

ps: why are you so fixated with garcias and radaza?

Blame it on the electorate or certain politicians, but overall I think it weighs down to the media. I understand that any media in any part of this world do have biases, but in the Philippines it's very nauseatingly apparent--and the funny part is they seem to keep credibility (among the masses).
